Work-related learning at key stage 4: support material for teachers of students with learning difficulties

The pack includes materials designed to help special schools implement the statutory requirement for work-related learning at key stage 4. They complement QCA's 2003 guidance, Work-related learning for all at key stage 4: guidance for implementing the statutory requirement from 2004. The pack comprises: (1) Guidance for teachers of students with learning difficulties, helping teachers plan and implement the statutory requirement for work-related learning; (2) Enterprise education for students with learning difficulties, assisting teachers plan, implement and evaluate successful teaching programmes that support enterprise learning; (3) Ensuring quality, which includes sets of criteria for quality in work-related learning activities and programmes; (4) Maximising learning from work-related experiences, showing how to structure work-related activities; (5) Working with employers, giving guidance on involving business and community partners in work-related learning
